Borgward Isabella TS Sedan

This Borgward was purchased at Beach Auto Electric on Queen Street East
in Toronto. Beach Auto was a Borgward dealer in the 50's and 60's.
They still sell fine autos today, specialising in the BMW.

This auto was originally purchased in 1961 and was driven 74,000 miles
until 1973. At this time it was in fine running condition but, unfortunately,
parked for health reasons. Sadly, this fine auto has not been driven since.

Sometime after the death of my uncle, my aunt gave this diamond
in the rough to me. She knew I always shared my uncles interest
in Borgwards. Since 1981 I have been threatening to restore this
beauty. It is time to face reality; I am probably not going to find the
time and energy needed to get this labour of love completed.

My son and I pushed it out of the garage, dusted it off, and took a few
pictures. He is the one sitting in the Borgward. I had a little trouble
getting him out. Reluctantly, it's back in the garage and for sale.
